Stuart and Judy would love to welcome you to their home.
West Cote Bed and Breakfast is a small farmhouse establishment which is situated in the idyllic Raisdale Valley within the North Yorkshire National Park and is just off the road running between the picturesque market towns of Stokesley and Helmsley (B1257).
Although we are not involved in farming we are sited in a farm yard so we have been heard to say that we have all the fun of the farm without the hard work and our views are to die for.
Our main business is looking after walkers who are completing the Coast to Coast Walk or the Cleveland Way and who are looking for accommodation near Clay Bank or Carlton Bank. We can also cater for people on the North Yorkshire Inns Way as we are quite close to The Sun Inn. West Cote is also a good place to stop for long distance cyclists. Have a look at our facilities.
Everyone is welcome but please take the following into account:
We have limited parking. There are times when we cannot take cars so please contact us if you intend to visit with a car.
We do not have a visitors' lounge though there are seating areas available.
We are open from around Easter time until mid-October.
Visitors may find us a bit too small for an extended stay but ideal for an overnight stop on a long distance walk or cycle route.
If you have any doubts give us ring and talk it over. We would hate to disappoint anyone. This is your break and we want you to be as comfortable as possible.
